Who we are |
|
The NRCA was formed in January 2008 as a response to ongoing attacks on cycling and cyclists by the car lobby, aided and abetted by the New South Wales Government. The Association represents cyclists using the roads as transport with an aim to lobby government for more positive outcomes for all road-using cyclists. The incident on Southern Cross Drive on May 8, 2008 brought out into the open what we cyclists face on a daily basis. We cop abuse and get things thrown at us just because we choose to get around by bicycle. |
